Would you like rice with that?

Ok so today I get bored, my dads was going to have his faculty members over for a little get together so I couldnt tear down my car in the front yard and do one of my stupid projects so since it was a nice warm day I decided to go out for a nice drive. After a few minutes I realize I still have a gift card for the mall so why not go pick up a shirt. When I pull in the parking lot I notice a group of about 10-12 "sport compact" cars sitting parked by eachother a couple with hoods open with about 15 or so people standing around them. I think sweet, i could see from a distance some of those cars had some extensive body work done to them so theres bound to be at least a couple nice engines for me to drool over. I park next to them, get out and walk over remembering how welcoming most of the people in my old town were when new people showed up. What do I get? A few cold stares with arms crossed and a few of those "sup" nods. So I start askin the guys about their cars and checking out the engines of the ones who had their hoods popped open just being the nice guy I am. Wow was I dissapointed! There was one 99-00 civic si that the guy said was built up pretty well n/a pistons, cams, etc. all that head stuff. Thats it. Every other cars engine was completely stock. A couple of them had fart cans welded on to their stock pipes but thats IT. I am so dissapointed in this town, I see riced out cars everywhere but everyone I have talked to with the exception of an RSX-S and a Spec-V are just stock cars with bodykits and huge wings! Damn this town! The best part about these riced out civics is one of the guys sitting out by his car was eating some chineese take out from one of the mall food places, i was laughing on the inside the whole time thinking about that.

Re: Would you like rice with that?

LOL...it's kinda like that around here sometimes. At the local Burger King ricers all meet up to have a "street meet" it's a parking lot show with some really aggressive body kits and wings and neon. None of them have much of any engine mods or even catback exhaust, just fart cannons on the end. In fact that's how I raced one of the Eclipses in my sig...guy thought that since I didn't have the '97-'99 turbo wing I was a GS too...

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahhahahahaha hahahha ahhhhhhahahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahaha rice burners to the rescue, that's some funny shit. Oh god how I hate rice burners like that. At least get a car that will go faster than 50m/hr for the wing to actually do something

Shit.

I might as well, I could probably beat half of the cars just reving to about 4k rpms so it would be just like regular driving, which means no extra wear on my car. Although I might want to watch out racing 1/4 mile with that guy with the huge wing, by the time he gets to about 1/5 of a mile it might give him some kind of crazy downforce and immediately launch him up to about 120mph, at least thats the only reason i see behind getting a gigantic wing thats taller than the car is.

Actually I just thought about this, i need to get a huge aluminum wing on my car, if i ran my radios antenna to that i could get some badass reception!

I think every city has parking lot car shows; all show no go. We have parking lot car shows every weekend, and they're no different.

Loud exhausts and GT wings are hot, they make girlies show thier boobies, whydon't car makers offer them as standard? I'd roll in one.

Re: Would you like rice with that?

you're lucky, around here there's a lot of civics that look stock, covered with primer, unpainted body kits, steel wheels, fart can's, etc and actually end up having b18's, b16a/b's, or h22's.

Re: Would you like rice with that?

Surprisingly in Champaign there are some well built imports, i didn't realize it at first until i saw a lot of them at the Parkland Car Show. And this is predominantly a muscle car area. Maybe you should tell them how much they suck...maybe that would motivate them? Or just race them, and after you smoke them, tell them that you will teach them the way...

Re: Would you like rice with that?

It seems they think they are pretty bad ass. I say challenge them to races, and beat them real close on purpose so they will keep racing you. Then always be modest and say you got lucky, they almost had you blah blah blah. And keep winning their money.

I used to hang out with some dudes in parking lots before. It was mostly ricers, but some of the cars were pretty nice. The main thing though, was just to hang out with the guys, and if you had something new, just show it to your friends. I was the only dude rollin a ford.. er wait, no there was a guy with a 02 mustang, and it was pretty bad ass. Sometimes these guys would roll up (they called themselves "perv session"... homos lol) and always wanted to race. Sometimes people would race, but I always thought they were dumb. They acted all hardcore instead of hopping out and being friendly.

Maybe you should join their parking lot car show group, and rule it because your car is better. Challenge all of them to a race. Tell them if you win, you get to be king of their car club lol.

Re: Would you like rice with that?

I would want to hang out with them and race a few of them just to be able to be like what now bitch!! But I dont really like to hang out with people who are gonna act like a jackass towards me when im just tryin to hang out and talk to them about cars. If I do see one of them riding down the road though, its on.

Re: Would you like rice with that?

I'm a member of NWA Imports/Motorsports here in NorthWest Arkansas. We have those car lot shows, every saturday night before we cruise. We get tons of attention, lots of built up and somewhat fast cars. The guys with the really built up cars, usually stay away from the cruises, cause we get some asshole ricers that damn near cause crashes.

It's all about kickin it with friends and havin a good time. The local PD's know what we do, and watch out for us. Although not afraid to pull us over for stupid shit.

Yeah, we got ricers, but majority is people with real know-how and want to get it done and get it fast.

Re: Would you like rice with that?

Well, my wife's car (completely bone stock, 4-cyl 94 cavailer!!) now sounds like a ricer. Due to the fact that the muffler fell off this morning on the way to work. I think I'll leave it that way till the weekend. She's driving it the rest of the week.

Do you think I can get the girlie's to show their boobies now ?
