I have been going to our Canadian show for the past 5 years and each year gets better. The very first time was ok but very poorly organized. This year was very good!!!! Heres some of my favorites of the show..

Lambo Murc. Roadster..

Maseratti MC12..

Ferrari 430 and 612..

C6 Corvette Z06..

E60 BMW M5..

Steeda Mustang..

Porsche Carrera GT..(my favorite!!)

Me and the sexy Ducati 999..

Me on a Victory cruiser..

And finally, me on a Harley Davidson V-Rod..although I do like the new Anniversary edition Fatboy much better

That was just a few of my favorites. I have many more pictures but I just thought I'd share these.

Funny how you can insult someone over an internet forum huh!? I would have expected more intelligent comments about the pictures. It's a shame there are people like you posting on this forum.

I say what comes to mind. Internet forum or where ever I may be at the time.

Some decent photos. Nothing new. But then again, after the first big show of the year, nothing is. I do find a bit of humor in the Mustang shot, "Built for life in Canada" written in the background. The same tag line Ford uses everywhere else. You think they would try atleast a little creativity.

I add something there, take away something here, it all evens up more or less. I said what I said in jest, perhaps a "" would have helped.

You may want to post an apology to all those you just offended by posting that.

i've been twice already!

i had a media pass for both wednesday the 16th and thursday the 17th. those were before it opened to the public, as they were media-only days. i was taking pictures for my buddy-and-fellow-Suislide-member's webpage, www.driftstar.com. the pics aren't up yet though. i got free admission, free parking and free food. took 890 pictures over the 2 days. yes that's not a typo. 890 pictures.

the best part of those 2 days was the fact that, since no-one was there besides media, EVERY car was open.

i sat in the Carrera GT, the F430, the Gallardo, the Maybach, the Benz SL65 AMG, the new M5, Acura NSX, Bentley Continental GT and a bunch of other cars that are locked to the public.

the Carrera GT is AMAZING! they had it sitting on the floor on Wednesday instead of up on the turnstyle. getting into the car, the seat absolutely grabs your sides and holds you tight. you are completely surrounded in carbon fibre. look down at the pedals, and you notice they're hinged on the floor like a race car, which this basically is. pushing in the clutch takes all of your leg strength, and the shifter feels absolutely bolt-action. getting out of the car, especially for a 6'5 gentleman such as myself, proved no easy task. while trying to gracefully exit the car, i accidentally leaned on the horn, making the sales rep jump about 5 feet.

anyways, i'm not allowed to post any of my pics yet, since they're supposed to go onto the website. so once the gallery is up on there (when the owner gets back from California), i'll link you guys to it.

Re: Anyone been or going to the '05 Canadian International Auto Show?

I dont know how anybody wouldnt here about it, they talk about it on the radio, have newspaper sections all about it. And the Toronto auto show is one of the biggest auto shows in North America.

I go almost every year, and every other year to Detroit... and the Detroit auto show isnt much better, its pretty much the same shit

yeah, detroit gets a few more concept cars then we do though, and unveilings.

but i got to see all our unveilings on the press day, it was pretty cool.

despite it being a shitty car, the Suzuki Concept X probably had the best unveiling. sitting beside the podium as the president talked was a large, translucent crate, with no top panel. through the sides you could see headlights and tail-lights, but it wasn't clear enough to see any detail, and fog was pouring out of it.

when he said "ladies and gentlemen, the Suzuki Concept X", fireworks shot out of the sides of the box and then out of the top, and one by one the panels fell to reveal the car sitting inside.

i was surprised to find that our show is one of few International shows along with Paris, Tokyo, Detroit and Los Angeles.
