I have a 1995 Camaro that has a 3.4L 204ci engine in it, I am building a 383 Stroker to put in it. I am willing a spend money on this, but I need to know a fellow things: Will the serpentine system on my 3.4 bolt up to the 383 and do the engine mount to the 3.4L mounts, and will the radiator cool the bigger engine just fine or not? I will putting MSD ignition in it with crank trigger, ignition box and coil. Also I am putting an Edelbrock Performer Series 600cfm carb on top of a Edelbrock dual plane intake, with egr (cause it will help when I go to get it e-checked next year). And is there anyone that has done this before, I just want to know what I am going to need to get. Thanks

the serpentine setup off of another small block will work, i don't know how the accessories are mounted to a 3.4... the radiator will not be enough coolant, and i wouldn't guess that the mounts are the same...

Re: Replacing My Old 3.4L with a 383 Stroker
i think the engine mounts are different actually, not so sure about it tho, also, I don't think you'll be able to pass an e-check without computer control.

Re: Replacing My Old 3.4L with a 383 Stroker
the e-check is not going to be a problem the friend that i have working on this with me is a ase certified master machanic and he is telling me that he can tune the carb so i can pass echeck, he also says that the egr will also help.

Re: Replacing My Old 3.4L with a 383 Stroker
another question that i am wondering, is what type of sub-frame connectors are better, bolt-on or weld-on

Re: Replacing My Old 3.4L with a 383 Stroker
Either one is a improvement over stock body flexing but weld on are more secure.
