About neutral safety switch

alright I've got my NSS off of my transmission, cleaned it then re-attached, but now when I go to shift through the gears and take it out of park my gears are much stiffer than they were before and it is harder to shift now. What would cause that?

HOW TIGHT DID YOU TIGHTEN THE ADJUSTING BOLT. SHOULD BE 108 INCH LBS. DALE

the bolt was too tight, re-adjusted and now gears shift fine, thanks dale
