2001 taurus ses heater problem
I have had this car for about a month and last night, i started the car and got the heat up, but then it went cold. I have the heat set all the way up, and sometimes it blows hot air, and sometimes it goes cold. It does both intermintantly, anyone have suggestions? Is it the thermostat or something else? Thanks

If it's not the thermostat, and if your heater core is plugged it might be worthwhile to try to backflush your system, and if that doesn't work then you might be looking at a mighty expensive heater core replacement. |

You should not have to go too far back in time on this message board to see what others with heater problems have done to isolate and fix this type of problem.
