2000 Blazer engine surge at 60mph

Any ideas on why my 2000 Blazer would have an engine surge at 60mph.? Chevy dealer cleaned fuel injector and put new computer in because engine light stayed on but has yet to figure out the surge problem. Would appreciate knowing if anyone else had this problem and what the remedy was. Thanks

My coworker's 2000 blazer does the same thing. There was no check engine light though. The fuel filter has been replaced and nothing has changed, so he is in the same boat as you. The dealer has no idea. He also has the dreaded fuel guage problem, where the guage bounces around all the time. From what I have read, that is the sending unit in the tank. But still can't figure the surge problem at 60 mph????? The only things I can think of is fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor, EGR, or even something with the lockup converter. Any ideas??
