Unhappy Automatic Shift Knob not Manual
I have a 98 Cavy Z24 and I need help figuring out how to get the shift knob off. It's an automatic. I keep finding posts about getting the manual knobs off but I need to know about the Automatics. Please Help.

Also one last question ; I've painted my console red with a vinyl and plastic paint from OReilly's and it seems to be holding up well. It however isn't that shiny. Do i just spray clear over it or what ? Thanx Lots Pics will be up soon!

Pull it back into '1' and there is a small slot in the front. use as pair of needle nose pliers to pull out the clip. It's the same more or less to the manual knob. it's slide.
