oil & gas recommendations

For 4Runner owners...do you religiously use a certain brand of gas? How about conventional oil vs. synthetic?

I use whatever gas is cheapest, and I prefer Valvoline, or Castrol for oil. When my new motor is finished, I will use Valvoline full synthetic.

I use only brand name gasoline and change brands often. I believe that each gas leaves its own characteristic deposits over time and they will clean up deposits left by other brands. Changing brands will help keep the injectors cleaner.

Do different gas stations give your car better mpg? Which one is the best? I usually use speedway or BP...

Different gas stations have different additives. Thats for sure. But do they change your gas mileage? I would say probably not enough to notice.

I doubt there is any difference between brands, as long as the octane is the same.
