2003 cavalier center console

On the front left passenger lower side of the center console there is a little plug in type hole with a small lid on it, looks like a cig lighter with out the lighter, but its not...........any ideas what that is for???

My 2002 model has a 12V accessory plug there.

ohhhhhh, i see.... and after checking my manual again after your reply, the outlet is good for no more than 5 amps........is there a car vacumm out there that can pick up decently with only 5 amps??

I have used my Oreck car vac with that outlet and never blew any fuses. I don't think you'll have a problem with using it.
