Will 33" tires fit stock height???

I have a '97 Z71.

I don't want my truck lifted. But I do want wider rims and tires.

I'm thinking getting, 15x10 rims with 33x12.50x15 tires.

Rims 8" wide seems too narrow for a truck this big.

I'm open for suggestions too.

in most cases, yes. i believe 33 convert to 285 size tires and that is what i have on mine

The 33x12.50 will not fit on your truck with wider wheels without rubbing. You would have to go with a min. of a 3" lift to fit that combination on your truck. The 285's do measure 32.9" tall and will fit on your truck with factory wheels or aftermarket wheels with the same width and back spacing.
