stock radio compatable ?

my friend is getting rid of his old (twin 12" in an enclosure) and he wants to give me those and his 500watt dual chanel amp. my 04 crown vic lx sport has regular speakers, cd player, tape deck, 6 cd changer in the trunk and i was wondering if i take it to best buy would those speakers and amp work with the stock radio in the car or should i buy a new radio ?

Re: stock radio compatable ?

It'll work if you either have high level inputs on the amp or you get a line-level converter. I'd check for a stereo shop to do the install though.
