Re: how do i resize

really.. all you need to do is open the pic in a photo editing program (photoshop, jasc.. etc.) and usually there will be an Image pulldown menu, then there will usually be a resize option.

Re: how do i resize

the picture in KaotiK's sig is about 400x200.That's pretty good for a sig, but if you were using it in a single post, you could go with something a bit bigger

Re: how do i resize

If you have a scanner the freeware that came with it can do image editing.

so ok, what are you trying to do? post pictures in a thread or put one in your signature?

if all you want to do is post pictures in a thread, then it's easy.

if you go to your photobucket page, you'll see all the pictures you've uploaded are visible as thumbnails, and underneath them will be 3 columns. one is the URL, which is just the straight-up URL to get to the picture, one is tag, which is used on other types of bulletin boards, and the last one is Img.

what you want to do is simply click on the text in the Img column, right click and copy it, then in your thread, paste it. that's it, your done. press "submit", and the pictures should show up.

Automotiveforums.com uses VBulletin, and what the Img does is place Image Tags at each end of the URL. they appear as [IMG] and [/IMG]. if you ever want to post a picture on AF, simply put the URL of the picture in between those tags, and it should show up.

what photobucket does is automatically add those tags for you in the Img column, so that's why is simply a matter of straight copy-and-pasting.

good luck man, and if that doesn't work then shoot me a PM and i'll see what i can do to help.

Re: how do i resize

You want MGI Photosuite III....it's the editing software.
Use the software to crop and resize your image.
