Oh, Where do I start?
Symptoms: Began with surging and rough idle, once while parallel parking it died. Repairs: Fuel pump, Fuel filter, plugs, and O2 upstream have been replaced After the above repairs were completed by a jeep mechanic, it STILL has a rough idle and will chug when idleing like it wants to die. So...I took it back to the mechanic where it has been for two weeks. They have mounted MANY parts and sensors through trial and error to locate the cause including...(IAC,TPS,Sensors,Injectors,) ect. the list goes on and on. A Master Tech from chrysler has been working on it the past couple of days...Can't find the problem. They now think it could be a Main computer, or electrical problem... All in all a VERY frustrating event, considering I just bought the vehicle a month ago! So...My question to everyone is what pretty penny would I have to fork over for a main computer??? Or what else could be wrong? Thanks everyone |

Re: 2000 Grand Cherokee Problems
they will probably flash the PCM (main computer) first, which doesnt cost anything for them to do. (not that they wont charge you to do it)
