91 Civic Wiring question

First, I apologize if this shows up twice. I'm new!

Wierd thing...all of a sudden while I'm driving the other day my door ajar/seat belt dash lights start flashing and beeping. The door was not open nor the seat belt undone. I checked the "switch" in the door jam, disconnected it, it didn't do anything. I left it disconnected and electrical taped it to the door, didn't do anything. Now, the lights come on and the beeping starts when I hit the brake (most of the time). I am thinking it is a short somewhere. Until I find the short can anyone tell me how to disconnect the damn beeper? It is most annoying.

I also get shocked when I touch the door. Tried pulling the fuse but it controls the turn signals as well.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks for that quick info. The seatbelt and door lights are both flashing/beeping. I've been looking at some wiring diagrams today, may try disconnecting at the door for now.
