Re: fenders not lining up

Hmmm...... Cheap aftermarket fenders not lining up.. Get used to it.

(I didn't mean cheap in reference to the cost because I'm sure they were expensive, but quality rather)

Re: fenders not lining up

Are you SURE they are VIS??? I've never had a problem with VIS stuff before. Do they have the VIS label on them.

Re: fenders not lining up

Most after market pieces that are mass produced aren't going to be perfect. I tried installing Z3 fenders on my buddies Integra a couple of years ago and it looked HORRID!! The hood barely closed. As someone stated before, get used to it. That's just the nature of fibreglass parts.

Re: fenders not lining up

88-91 the fenders are the same.. At least they are on hatches, I don't see why CRX would be different.

I'm pretty sure just the bumpers are different between the years.

Re: fenders not lining up

No. I have an 88 fender on my 91 and fits a lot better than my aftermarket made-in-korea fender on the other side of the car. It was $50cdn. new and I couldn't resist a new fender for that.. haha..

Re: fenders not lining up

88-89 and 90-91 crx fenders are different in how the corners bolt up. Other than that, they are the same.
So, you said your aftermarket fenders aren't lining up properly? Welcome to the world of aftermarket mofications!

Re: fenders not lining up

well, you could make anything work if you wanted to. But, if you are using 88-89 fenders on a 90-91 crx, and wanted to use the 88-89 corners, you'de be ok. But if you did the opposite, 90-91 fenders on an 88-89, you'd have to drill holes for the screws.
