exhaust smell getting in car

my car is an 88 iroc-z with tpi. I just looked under my car today and i found a crack where the header pipes turn into one pipe and it smells like that is it. could this be the problem

over at iroc-zpost you said it was a gas smell, rather than exhaust, maybe that's why we couldn't give you the correct answer then.

sorry about that yeah its an exhaust smell but i got the problem fixed today and i also got a high flow cat. and flomasters. all i can say is that it sounds way better and no more smell close to the windows anymore.
