2005 Odyssey seatbelt audible warning
hello. is there any way to disconnect the audible warning for not having your seatbelt on?
we always wear our seatbelts but when we are close to our house we take them off and a few seconds later that annoying beeping starts. thank you.

There is usually only 2 wires giong to the female seatbelt side. If you connect the two your problem would be alleviated. Mind you if you got in a wreck and died....I would like to see the lawsuit from your family because you bypassed such a circuit.

Plus the srs lite would be on. Just wear the damn thing.
Only other thing is find a spare buckle and plug it in

If the D/S buckel is disconnected a code 61-x will apear. The buckle turn off the little lite of the guy with the seat belt on. The SRS control unit detects when the buckle is bucled by this curcuit. Thats how it knows wether or not to fire the seatbelt tensioner, ETC.

The seat belt tensioner has nothing to do with these wires. If it did then every seat buckle would have them. I never said to disconnect the harness merely parallel the wires together. Once again I dont know of an R value inside a buckle hence paralleling the wires would duplicate the buckle being in.
