Classic car care

I just got a 1967 Karmann Ghia in an unbelievably very good condition. It has over 99 % orginal parts in showroom condition.

How do I keep it that way ? What kinds of care products should I use ? Any info would be helpful since I am new to the car-care business " sort of like a first-time-mother'.

Re: Classic car care

Keep it inside out of the weather to protect the car
when washing and waxing the car dont use any harsh soaps use all mild nonabrasive soaps and dry the car off compleatly its best to wash it in the shade
when you wax it also use non abrasive wax like Mothers or a high quality wax dont use wash rags
they may scratch the paint use (cheese cloth) to apply the wax and remove the wax. For the interior use the same prosses wash with the same methed but dont wax use only non abrasive upholstery cleaners the cleaners will very by style of the upholstery if it fabric, vinyl or leather. for leather use Lexal cleaner and condishiner for cleaning and persirving the leather it works on vinyl also. Hope this helped you.

Re: Classic car care

Wash it frequently, yet mildly.
