Tunning Valve 94 S-10 VORTECH

I Have A Question Regarding The Tuneing Valve. When I Removed It, The Plastic Cover Came Off And The Metal Body Stayed In The Plenum.I Reassembled It,greasing the washer The orieintation was front to rear when on the bolt pattern.Has anybody ever noticed the relationship of the flapper? I,m not sure if the flapper has rotated anytime during removal. Ted

Re: Tunning Valve

Its supposed to be going from front to rear, by computer
control it opens(going side to side) at a given rpm(3k)
and it gives you the advantage of a single plenum intake,
equalizing pressure,or vaccum for that matter, giving
you more upper end power. Under 3000rpm it remains closed to
give you more lower end torque of a dual plenum design.
