Exclamation Lopes then dies after starting

I have a '91 S10 and im trying to find out why when i go to start my truck after it has been sitting for about an hour it starts but lopes real bad and then wants to die , but if i give it some gas the loping goes away and runs fine. What could this be, the egr valve bad or fuel pump going bad? I have an electric fuel pump.

Done a tuneup lately?

If not, do it! Fuel filter too.
