Since the car I posted photos of was wrecked and repaired, I have a strong feeling that its still that same F1. Someone can feel free correct me on that if I am wrong.

For those who aren't familiar with it, the F1 in Melbourne looks a lot like this shot of #045 taken with the incorrect White Balance setting:

I think you are confused. #045 is not the Australian F1 - it just so happens that particular photo of #045 makes the color look quite similar to the Australian car. Unless someone knows something they aren't saying, the chassis number on the Australian car is unknown. There are also no photos of the actual car in circulation at the moment.

That shot was taken at the 2003 (I think) Palo Alto Concours when #045 was displayed by Canepa Designs. There are several similar photos in circulation of that car from that day, but that one in particular happens to make the car appear to be a gray/blue like the color of the Australian F1 has been described.

As for the dealer the Australian F1 is at - I'm not talking. In fact, I have probably said too much already. We all know how that goes though...

I don't believe the car is there to be sold, and it doesn't seem like a place where just anyone could go hang out.

Well this F1 has broken cover, and I can finally share a photo of it that was taken at the Melbourne Grand Prix by the person who originally reported on it over at SC.net. I suspect this may be the first of MANY photos and info on the car in the days to come.

Clickable...

I guess the color wasn't as blue gray as it appeared in the original shot I saw, which was taken through a pane of glass.
