B series Clutches
Ok I am lookin to buy some type of Stage 1 clutch or so. I dont know much about the clutch brands and things related to it. I wanted to get a clutch for my basically stock b18a1 wit LS tranny. I wanna be able to kinda beat on it and not worry about glazing it or going through it quickly. I dont beat on it often just if I want to I wanna be able to. Im lookin on ebay at clutches my friend told me exedys are pretty good and ACT which I know are good clutches.. but there are a few on there like NKK NIPPON and just basic generic brand clutches. How are they I would like to know? Can I get some opinions and maybe a place to get a nice clutch from?

i'd go with an ACT clutch.
I would never ever buy a ebay clutch. buy name brand... and a good name brand. it will be well worth it in the long run. i've been running an ACT A13-HDSS for about a year and a half now and i beat the hell out of it and haven't had any problems. edit: try groupbuycenter.com thats where I got my clutch and flywheel from. easy process and good prices.

Re: B series Clutches
You have to be careful about ebay, there are people who make clutches that look a lot like the ACT. But they are not ACT and they sell them as ACT. Buy from a well known vendor or as knorwj said groupbuycenter.

Re: B series Clutches
This is a pretty good buy I think. My friend had a exedy clutch in his b18 civic 4 door for over a year and beat on it everday and it lasted with a Exedy stage 1 clutch. http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/p..._combo/pscb07/
