89 dx seat mount

i went to a junk yard and pulled the seat mount off of what was labled to be a 91 dx, and the mount is about an inch longer then my 89 dx, was it labled wrong and its possiby a 92 car??? or did the mounts not intercange from 88-91? if not does anybody know what years/models i can use the mount from? thanks

dont think the 88-91 mounts changed, its simple to take seats out tho, 4 bolts to each seat

the new mount i have is an inch to long, and the seat that i took the mount off of was knifed badly

easy way to find out... do u have seat belts on u'r doors or on the b-pillars?
honda changed the location of the seat belts during the 89 model. so 88 and sum of 89 have the seat belts on the b-pillar and the rest of 89-91 have the seat belts on the doors. when they did this change, they also changed the location of the seat belt buckle from the floor to on the seat. they also changed the seat mounts due to this.

B piller... and the car i pulled it from was a 91 so it had them in the door, and i did take the bukle off of the seat itselfe, thanks honda_luvr_2000 for the info
