which swap better?

Whats Up Fellow Mr2 Owners, I Have A 91 Mr2 N/a And Im Looking Forward To Swapping For A Better Engine, And Now I Dont Know Which Engine Would Prove To Be Better. My Two Choices Are Either The 93 U.s Turbo Engine Or The 95 Japanese Turbo Engine. I Need Help. I Want A Fast Engine But Dont Want To Spend Too Much.

Go 93 US turbo.

Easier, and more practical.

The JDM 95 motor has the ct20b turbo though, so it has more hp out of the box. But honestly, it's smarter (and cheaper in the long run) to stick with the US motor and just up the boost a little.

i agree -- the gen2 1993 US or JDM swap would be the best bet -- going to the 94+ JDM gen3 is a real PITA when something breaks and you wait 2+ months to get it from Japan............
