hollywood camaros

anybody else get horribly pissed off when they wreck a perfectly good camaro on tv. i just saw a commercial for fear factor where they flip a camaro. not to mention the countless movies where camaros get needlessly destroyed. why cant they do it with newer gayer cars, like kias or toyotas. we only have so many of our maros left...

Re: hollywood camaros

I know that fear factor always uses them because a hard top 3rd gen camaro is supposed to be one of the safest cars in the world to be in in an accident

Re: hollywood camaros

Fear factor has smashed a lot of third gens and second gens.O well Now yours is worth more to a collector.I think they use them because its the cheapest car possible to add a roll cage and a hot motor to.Not to mention for all the flips and flying you need somthing not only durable but light weight.

Re: hollywood camaros

A nice 1st gen was blown up in Bad Boys, a 78' Z28 was smashed up in Beverly Hills Cop..

Stoner drove an 81' Z into a pile of bricks on fast times at ridgemont high..

Uhh I had a gumball ralley movie with a nice yellow 2nd gen that rolled

The bully drove a grey '67 Z/28 in the movie Christine but was burned to the ground by a gas station explosion..

There was also another really nice red 3rd gen in.. damn cant remember the name, But the guys girlfriend burnt it to the ground..
