studdering car and speedo probs

I have a 99 discovery and have recently noticed the when i start driving
my speedometer does not move, nor does the odometer, or trip.
at the same time the vehicle seems to not have any pick up, kind of studders, then picks up. After driving a while these symptoms dissaper.
It's kind of funny the car was running fine untill I got an oil change at the dealer.
