I have been driving this car for about a year now. It is a 97 eclipse rs that has had no major problems till now. The past few months i have been leaking tons of oil up to a quart or two every two weeks. i leave a puddle of oil anywhere i park for more than 5 minutes. I have replaced the oil pan , filter, head gasket and also added a brand new oil pan gasket. I did have a piston misfire which only included puting new spark plugs and coils in but other than that no major engine problems since i have owned it this past year.... Is there some little part that i have missed that has been causing all the leaking ... any advice please respond my wallet cant afford an extra expense everyweek.

Re: major leaking problem help fast!!
try putting the car on jackstands and looking under the engine for any oblivious oil leaks. if you can't find it right away go to a spray and wash and steam clean the engine as much as possible. then put it up on the stands again.
if the leak is bad enough it will show soon enough. |
