Re: 1992 dodge shadow won't start not getting spark.
check the electrical connection around your ignition coil, make sure they're clean & tight. Also, check and see if you have battery voltage coming into the coil.

Re: 1992 dodge shadow won't start not getting spark.
check and see if there's any trouble codes stored in memory by using the ignition key method; turn your key on/off 3xs ending in the on position. The "CHECK ENGINE" light will flash to give you trouble codes. If it flashes, for example, three times and then flashes another 5xs, that's a code 35. If you get code 12, that means your battery has been disconnected within the past 50 start-ups and if you get a code 55, that's an "END OF CODE" message. If you get nothing, find your PCM, located in the intake snokel, disconnect the main harness connector and check for spread terminals. If all looks good, proceed to next step. Locate terminal 19 on your PCM, it's wire color is black/gray; it'll be near the left side of the connector next to last one. Get a paper clip and a jumper wire connect the jumper wire to a good ground, attach a spark tester to one of your spark plug wires and crank the engine. If you see blue sparks then, replace the PCM.
