David vs goliath!
Hi guys. I'm going to have some fun tonight. I have a pre-arranged meeting with a 1995 chevy caprice classic with the lt1 motor. Do any of you know the statistics on that car with that engine? He says it runs a 15.5 on the quarter and low to mid 7 seconds to sixty. 4 speed automatic, any thoughts? I have a feeling I'll be able to beat him securely when we race. 1998 Acura Integra GS-R, CAI. Otherwise stock.

Re: David vs goliath!
if you can drive and you are able to race at least 1/4mi you should take him, dont give up when he beats you off the line. it should be fun either way.

Re: David vs goliath!
I beat the caprise classic lt1. I was, however, suprised at the amout of top end the car had. I expected to pull like I normall do on most cars at my redline, I barely pulled on him at redline. It being an auto, meant that I was off the line quicker than him. It's a rear wheel drive car, but damn I got a good car length ahead of him on start, then he closed to half a car, and then we just kinda stayed like that til about 80 where I hit something like 7k revs and I pulled and then he was forced into his auto's 4th gear, and I pulled pretty baddly on him from there.
