How to disable panic alarm
I have an '01 Cavalier Z24 with the standard key fob for remote locks, trunk release and panic alarm. Since I often hit the alarm button by mistake, I'd like to know if it's possible to disable this. Anyone tried this before? Thanks for any input in advance

I'd rather have it and not need it, then need it and not have one.

the only way is to either permanantly remove the contact pad inside the remote or install a piece of non conductive material to the pad inside the remote for the alarm.
