Body Supra

Hello,

I'm building Toyota Supra, and I've nearly finished it now.
However I smashed the bodywork accidently (don't ask how, I just did )...

I can buy a new one from Dutch Tamiya importer, but that will cost me 16 euros.
(7 euros for the body, 1 euro shipment and another 8 euros for "administration cost"!)
Shipment for that will take two months.
I can also buy a new Toyota Supra kit and use body supplied in that kit, that will cost 20 euros.

What should I do?

Re: Body Supra

Get the kit. You'll find use for the seats the motor the differential.... everything, later. It never hurts to throw almost whole kits into your parts box.

Ouch! Bad luck. Personally I'd get the new kit aswell, although I'm sure there's people on this board who have a spare Supra body for you.

Cheers

Okay, thanks for the advice!
I will ask in classifieds thread if there is someone offering supra body...
If not I will buy a completely new kit.

Re: Body Supra

Absolutly go for the new kit. Extra parts(wheels, seats,...) are always usefull.
If you can count...... 16€ for the body or 20€ for body & extra parts......

Re: Body Supra

For only 4 more euros i would say just buy the whole kit which will save you time and give you many spare parts.
