1995 Dodge ram 1500 Lack of power
Going down road 75. All of a sudden vechicle acts like only running on 6 cylinders. Slows down to a crawl with no power but stays running. I sit with the vechicle off for 30 minutes and starts up and runs fine. Happens intermitantly. ? Under dodge ram 1500 running rough it gives a print out of how the spark plug wires are to be ran in the engine compartment could this be what is wrong with my vechicle? If so why would it be intermitant? Thanks.

Fuel injected or carb?
Tank full or empty? Carb maybe filter. FI maybe filter too, check the fuel pressure, Superman says needs 40# constant. Good luck

your cats could be getting ready to go as well, if they're getting backed up or overheating.

Re: 1995 Dodge ram 1500 Lack of power
Probably the cat, but as someone asked earlier, does this happen when the tank (gas) is at a certain level? May also be fuel filter, dunno why it would only be intermittent though.
