350 motor mounts
I have a 1962 chevy c/10 and it has a 6 cylinder in it. i bought a 350 to put in there but i need the 62 v8 motor mounts on the side because the six cyl thats in there is mounted in the front. i was woundering if anyone knew where i could find these.

The motor mounts you can get at your local auto parts store. What you also need are the frame mounts that the motor mounts bolt to. Try the local wrecking yard. Most old trucks had the same frame mounts for numerous years. When they pull the engine the frame mount is usually still in the truck. Also look on ebay or run a want ad on the Chevy truck forum of this site. Good luck.

I would try the local salvage yard as well. Sometimes you can find a lot for a little at those places. The frame mounts for a truck are easy to come by and you should be able to find a set. Your job sounds like a lot of work but you will have a nice street rod at the end. Good luck with your project and let us know how it turns out when its done.
