'94 Cavalier flashers

I have heard a '94 Cavalier has two (2) flashers. One for the turn and one for the hazzard. I found the one for the hazzard, but not the turn. Is this true? If so, where is the turn flasher located. Reason: The hazzard (four ways) work. The turn signals don't. I have just installed a new turn signal switch, (after being told by the person who gave me the car that he had to replace it twice). Still no turn signals. Can anyone offer any help?

Thanks,

Leon Hayle

Re: '94 Cavalier flashers

Do the arrow lights come on (flash or not) when you hit the turn signal switch? I know if one bulb is out they will come on but not flash, so if you are having to flash it yourself with the switch than it's probably a bulb. I know the flasher is a pain to get to.

With the four ways, all the lights, interior and exterior work. With the directionals, nothing works.

Re: '94 Cavalier flashers

The turn signal flasher is kind of up under the dash. Remove the trim by the steering column and lay down on the seat and look up between the steering column and the dash. Its mounted up there on the left as you look up.

I'd say something is amiss if the prev owner changed the switch twice and then you have and it's causing nothing else to work! I'd say that the wires are shorting. Check them out for missing insulation! You can just wrap them in insulation tape if so!
