These are the results of the Blower resistor??

Well I changed the blower motor resistor like i was adviced by some guys here as well as my mechanic......

To bring you up to speed on the problem i was and am having....

The A/C only worked on the number 5 speed....the 1-4 speeds did not work... aside from this prblem...there was another wierd problem..which is this...at night when the lights come on automatically without me having turning them on....as soon as i turned the a/c on to either 1, 2, 3, or 4 the lights went out.....and when i put it on the number 5 the lights came back on..when i put it on 1-4 you can hear a click somewhere behind the dashboard.....could it be electrical???

so i was told to change the resistor and it was changed yesterday with no change...the problem remains.....I have no idea what to try now...any ideas????

P.S: when i do turn the lights on manually at night ( without them coming on by themselves) the lights don't go off when i put the a/c on 1-4 levels...only when they come on themselves..

I know that Standard Motor Products also make's this part,so most auto part's stores should carry it.It is also called an Ignition starter switch and may run around a 100 buck's.This is what they look like.Do you have a SE,GT or GTP and does your car have tilt wheel

If you have a GT/GTP with Tilt wheel
This should be the GM part # and this is thru www.gmpartsdirect.com

GM PART # 26068757
CATEGORY: All
PACK QTY: 1 CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $116.05
OUR PRICE: $58.02
DESCRIPTION: SWITCH
