removing old radio from old Ford - confused!

Hi,

I'm completely new to all this... so a bit confused.

I've the following car: German Ford Escort CLI 1.8 16V from 1992(?).

It's got a broken car stero in it... it's labelled as: "Philips 754"

I'm trying to remove this old stereo.. and put in a new one. I've only been able to find two holes on the left of this stereo... seems not to have any on the right hand side - is that normal? Does anyone have any information / manual for this philips stereo?

Will i need to do anything else, other than put a special key into these holes?
