Whats the differance?
I noticed that the 97 blazers seem to have two differant front light set ups. My 1997 blazer have smaller head lights with the side markers light set apart. I see a few others that have a larger head light and the orange side marker is closer to the front attached to the head light. Both claim to be 97s blazers. Are they differnt models? They both have the chevy bow tie so its no a jimmy.

Yes, they're both 97... Stock on the 95-97 was the 1 piece recessed headlights, optional were the Composites that use 9005/9006 bulbs (Obviously composites look better). You can upgrade easily to the composites with the following parts.
Core support Composite light housings Grille Pigtails.

Re: Whats the differance?
I heard that the core supports could used with either setup.
All that was needed was the composite grill and the wiring upgrade.

Quote:
No, the core supports are different because of the mounting brackets for the composite lights, just like they are different for the 98+
