leaking oil

I was just wondering if it was easy to fix a oil leak on a 99 Kia Sportage. My brothers car is making really bad oil leak spills on my parents drive way and was wondering what to do to fix it. Thanks.

Re: leaking oil

Valve cover leaks are well known on the DOHC but in fact, you must find WHAT oil you have a problem with: transmission? front/rear differential, power steering, engine ? Valve cover leaks are also known to invade the spark plug/coil area so if you work on that, do it with caution.
