Radiator Drain Plug???

I am trying to replace the thermostat on my Camaro but I can't find the "drain cock" (I know lots of jokes are about to be posted) as the Chiltons manual refers to it. Also how to you bleed the cooling system? Thanks

This is the Z28 but the 3.4 is in the same spot
