i gave up finally

ok full length headers are a NIGHTMARE. i went to get exhaust and they had some joke of a y pipe set up, that was like a T-junction, well it just sucked, plus i was bottoming out everywhere, and it was not a good situation. anywho i went to get exhasut by the best of the best for around here, and he turned me down, gave me a list of problems about since there hiting the frame there screwing up the brake lines and fuel lines, and i cant fix my tranny leak cuz theres no room for my hands. sooo i am cutting them out on saturday or sunday whatever. gonna pull each tube out with tears, and throw them away. but the tears will soon dry up as i have just ordered hedman 1 5/8 shorties with 3" collector and the provided 2 1/2 inch y pipe. what do u guys think, will i lose power?

Switching to short tube headers, you will probably actually have slight gains in horsepower (maybe 5hp/5tq), but your power curve won't last as long so the car will actually feel slower.
