Is a 98 S10 SS worth having. Why or Why not

I heard they wasnt as good as the previous SS S10's. Are they slower or what.

should be no different then the 1996+ SS out there other than the front grill change over.

Im pretty sure they stopped in 97 as well. Someone could have put a 98 clip on it too.

theres a ford lightning for sale at the local dealership down the road, and i really looked into buying it, but when i really got up to it, the int was a std f 150 int, the moter was stock, the exhaust had been modified,to come out the side like the lightnings do, but the vin number matched a reg f 150... point being someone can alwase buy, and slap on the cheep extras to a vehical on the outside, but that doesnt make it what the badges say it is
