Angry 91 Accord Will Not Start

Has Anyone Seen A 91 Accord Trying To Turn Over But Wont Start At All? I Have Replaced The Fuel Pump, Relay, Filter, Distributor Cap, Rotor, Plugs, And Wires. The Motor Has Compression, Spark, And Correct Fuel Pressure At The Rail. I Have Tried Everything But No Luck. The Car Originally Died Outside In Very Cold Weather But Now The Car Has Been Inside A Buliding For The Past Month With No Change. When The Car First Died I Replaced The Fuel Pump And It Ran For About 10 Miles Then Died. Now It Is Back To Square One With No Start At All. What The Hell Is Wrong Here?? Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

Possible fuel injectors/fuel to the cylinders. The injectors include a resistor connected to the main relay and the ECU provides a ground to operate the injector. Possible distributor problems in the sensors for TDC, crank angle or cylinder. Do you have any stored Engine check codes?

SOunds like a classic case of a main relay gone bad.

Re: 91 Accord Will Not Start

except for the fact that she said she replaced it... It'd be kinda wierd to have 2 bad relays on one car...

Yeah - if that's the "relay" he's referring to. And if it was a new (not a junkyard) relay.

Re: 91 Accord Will Not Start

If the main relay was bad, he would not have spark. Me thinks the fuel injectors are not firing or not getting power.

Re: 91 Accord Will Not Start

So y'are Ashlee!

Well, if you've checked that you have spark & fuel getting to the motor, and it doesn't even COUGH --- but wait -- what did you mean by "trying to turn over?"

Possibly the igniter (within the distributor). Mine went and it caused the car to stall out randomly and it wouldn't restart for sometime. Worth a shot.

if the engine still turns over but doesn't start (and the starter still sounds okay) then it might be your distributor. My friends civic had the same problem. Try holding the key turned and giving it some gas over and over, might flood the engine, but my accord took like 5 minutes to start when its distributor was bad. If you get it started, letme know if the idling is erratic.
