conversion

hello all. i have previously written with some questions about 2wd to 4x4 conversion and no one has answered. maybe this question will be easier to answer. when converting an '85 2wd to 4x4, what would it take to install a straight axle in front in stead of using IFS?

if i were you id try to pick up an 85 4wd somewhere. thats a lot of work but if you really want to then go for it. you have to cut off all the IFS, you can find kits on the internet unless you want to make some of the parts yourself. www.marlincrawler.com they have a SAS kit. you would also need to get a transfer case to your tranny. then a front driveline, yada yada. do some research you can find out info.
