Does anyone know anything about performance chips?? Do they really bring out as much HP as they say? and last what kind is a good chip to buy. I already put in a cold air intake so bringing in air should not be a problem. I heard that the chips just advance the timing and increase the fuel. Therefore, people that just put the chips in and no CAI really go no where with the chips. right??? (The chip will be for a 2005 Neon sxt.) Thanks

Re: Performance Chip !Help!
What kind of chip? normally "chips" you find on ebay for gasoline motors in cars are shit and they are just a resistor and do more bad than good. Normally todo anything with the ECU you must by a performance ECU or get it remapped

I have an aftermarket mopar ECU. I didn't actually feel too much but when I put different things on like an inyake, I felt more then I should've. It gets more HP out of the performance part you put on. Like it'll give a lot more when I get around to putting on my headers and exhaust
