The tranny is a 4T60E and it will not go into any gear when it is cold let it warm up a few minutes and it works perfectly I changed the fluid and filter i also added a 10 oz bottle of lubeguard to it and it stills does the exact same thing and now it seems to take longer before it will start to work. does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks |

Re: 1993 Regal custom Tranny problem
AHHHH! from my personal experiance any the the tranny additives will either help the tranny or help shoot its self in the foot. If your are going to try anything, like 93rgeal said, replace the internal seals. If you dont feel like spending the time/money, go grab one from a junkyard.
But something you could try... You said you added tranny fluid...... Start your car up and let it idle for 30 or so minutes. Check the tranny fluid then. It may be a little low, but i think ur seals are shot. Much luck, Bill |
