4.3l V6 Help!!!
Hey everyone. Ive got a 1991 S-10 blazer with 150K on the 4.3L. I was driving on the freeway and I looked in my rear view mirror only to discover that my car was smoking. I got off the exit and drove right up the street to my house and it wasnt smoking until I parked my car. It does have an oil leak and I havent checked my coolant in a while. This just happened so Im waiting til it cools off to check those two things. Also, whenever I start my car when its cold, it shoots a bunch of blue smoke out my exhaust for about 10 seconds. Is my engine dying or is it oil seals or what? Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

Is that a hard thing to change by myself? My dad and brother are really good mechanics and Im alright for being 18. Also, do you know about how much those run?

I would honestly ask them how hard it would be seeing they are mechanics.
You are lucky, I wish I had a mechanic in the family.
