2001 Yukon Passenger's side power window problem
Just bought a 2001 Yukon that has a problem with the passenger's window.
All of the windows work properly except the front passenger's. When I try the switch from the passenger's door, I get nothing, but the lights dim slightly, no noise. When I try to roll the passenger's window down from the switch on the driver's side, I hear a click from passenger's door and the lights dim slightly. Anybody have any ideas? Motor? Regulator? Switch? Does anybody know of anywhere online that I can get a wiring diagram for the power window system? Thanks for any help. |

You'll probably need a new regulator assembly. Test with a test light, right at the motor. If it lights up with a button press, then the motor is bad. But, just the motor cannot be replaced. It is an assembly.
Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the reply. I spoke with my dealer today and he agreed to fix the problem. I really didn't expect him to since I bought it "as is." But he agreed to none the less. |
