Truck vibrates a lot in low gears!!
I have a 98 ranger 2.5l 4 cylinder.
When I go to 4 gear down side streets to save gas my truck vibrates a lot when I give it gas. Someone told me I need my fuel injector cleaned, is that true? Someone else told me I should re-tube my engine, like getting a set off all different tube sizes at my local suto parts store and re-tubing it all. Any help? suggestions? thanks. |

Re: Truck vibrates a lot in low gears!!
I have the same truck and it does the same thing. I think it is normal because a 2.5 dont have enough power to pick up in high gears when going slow. Andrew

Re: Truck vibrates a lot in low gears!!
bad u joints on you rear driveshaft will cause a vibration throughout the whole truck, especially when decelerating. city driving is really hard on truck u joints.
