Rear hatch window

Since my rear hatch doesn't have a defogger/defroster, when its cold outside the rear window just fogs up, never clears. Is this a common problem/feture on all of your 3rd gens?

that is a problem with ALL cars not having a rear defroster...

yes it is a problem! what i did to mine was bought one of those ceramic heaters with the blower on it that you can find at truck stops and mounted it on the wheel tub and pointed it at the rear window. just put a switch inside your console and run the wire to it. best thing since sliced bread!
