Re: AEM FUEL RAIL...... what the heck is it for?

It is an aftermarket fuel rail, it paired with larger injectors, and an aftermarket fuel pump are used to deliver more fuel to the engine. However, it isn't necessary unless you are sufficiently modded, and actually need to deliver more fuel to the engine. For instance if you have an aftermarket turbo setup and wish to run at slightly higher boost levels.

Re: AEM FUEL RAIL...... what the heck is it for?

Yeah, it's pretty much pointless unless you kit a wall with the mods on your car. That would mean that you're using your full fuel flow, and you need to upgrade you fuel rail and injectors. The car won't even give you more gas if you put it in (unless needed or reprogrammed), so unless you just want a show-like engine (dressed up and all), wait to put in a fuel rail...
